The recently completed Journées dentaires internationales du Québec that took place this past May 23 through May 27 continues to be Eastern Canada’s largest dental meeting and set an all-time record with 12,494 delegates in attendance. Of these, over 3,700 were dentists who attended. Over 125 scientific lectures were presented over a 5-day period in all aspects of dentistry open to all members of the dental team. The general attendance meeting on Monday and Tuesday featured a 125,000 square foot exhibit floor where 225 dental companies occupying over 550 booths displayed the latest in dental equipment, products and innovations.

Of particular note, a total of 7,167 delegates, not counting dental trade exhibitors, entered the Exhibit Hall at one time or another during the exhibition hours on Monday and Tuesday. Attractions within the Exhibit Hall drew in excess of 1,000 delegates between 8:00 am and 8:30 am for coffee and croissants on both days of the exhibition as well as over 1,200 delegates after 4:00 pm once lecture presentations were finished to savour on wine and cheese.

Montreal looks forward to hosting you once again in 2015 for the 45th edition of JDIQ from May 22 through May 26. It’s a date!
